As with all our hurricane candles, we recommend adding approximately a half inch of sand or water to the bottom of your hurricane before placing tealight holder in shell. This will help to absorb the heat from the candle and prevent melting of the parafin shell. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading of photograph.
